MTV Type D – Delivery Boat

The MTV Type D—also known as the Delivery Boat—is the smallest and most maneuverable vessel in the Modular Merchant Vessel (MTV) fleet. Designed for short-distance travel between ships, stations, and planetary surfaces, it specializes in rapid transfers and landings in tight spaces. Its compact hull provides ample space for a small group of passengers or critical supplies. Access is via a sliding door at the stern, allowing for rapid deployment in both civilian and tactical scenarios. As a modular support vessel, the Type D docks seamlessly with larger vessels in the fleet—including Type M and Type L—making it a practical choice for fleet-based missions. The interior is Gridforge-enabled and uses a modular tile system that allows you to rearrange walls, crates, and mission equipment on the fly. The tiles click securely into place, making the layout easy to adapt during or between missions—ideal for evolving scenarios, quick refits, or story-driven play.

Gaming compatibility

This model has been specifically designed for 28mm sci-fi and cyberpunk tabletop and role-playing games and integrates seamlessly into a wide variety of gaming environments, including
Star Wars, Infinity, Traveller, Aliens RPG, Core Space, Five Parsecs from Home,
Stargrave and Warhammer 40K.

3D printing and assembly

The model is delivered unpainted, made of non-toxic, gray PLA. We inspect all our products before shipping. However, due to the nature of 3D printing, some objects may require cleaning before use.
The model uses the OpenLOCK clip system for easy, adhesive-free installation.
